At Digital Fuel, we like to see people doing good work in the community well rewarded for their efforts. That’s what makes us so happy to see Kidney Health Australia reach their recent milestone with 7000 LIKES on Facebook.
Digital Fuel recently signed on to collaborate with Kidney Health Australia as their digital marketing consultants. So, it also makes us happy to share their news, and even more proud to have had a little helping hand in propelling Kidney Health Australia to new heights of recognition and awareness for what they do to promote good kidney health through education, advocacy, research, and support.
Reaching the 7000 Likes on Facebook has proven just the ticket to kickstart the campaign strategy we developed together with Kidney Health Australia after spending some time looking at their current mission, vision, and core values, along with their non-profit business needs.

Kidney Health Australia was first established in 1968 as a non-profit organization, which has served the kidney community of Australia for over 45 years.
MISSION: To promote good kidney health through education, advocacy, research and support.
VISION: To save and improve the lives of Australians affected by kidney disease.
- Commitment to excellence
- Working cooperatively
- Proactive leadership
- Commitment to ‘making a difference’
The organization is committed to helping families and children affected by kidney disease, and their biggest challenge still remains to reach those two million Australians who do not know they have early kidney damage.
Kidney disease, often referred to as the ‘silent killer’, has no warning signs which means that a person can lose up to 90% of their kidney function before they realise they are sick. Kidney Health Australia works tirelessly to make a noise about this ‘silent’ disease’ which claims many lives every day in Australia.
KIDNEY HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK 2015
Sunday 24 May to Saturday 30 May 2015
Kidney Health Week is an annual event held in the last week of May, during which communities across Australia turn red and take part in activities to promote a message of early detection, prevention and support.
MEET YOUR KIDNEYS
This year’s Kidney Health Week focuses on introducing Australians to their kidneys, and educating them about the role they play, including their vital function of regulating blood pressure. The aim is for Australians to understand how important kidneys are to their overall health and to keep a vigilant eye out for risk factors leading to kidney disease.
There will be a range of activities and announcements happening across the country, so be sure to check the http://www.kidney.org.au website and social media channels regularly for the latest news on Kidney Health Week!
