Digital Fuel Marketing is supporting the charity Greater Change pro-bono with their paid media activity, launching their PPC campaign in May 2020.
Digital Fuel Marketing began working with Greater Change when our CEO and founder Toby Oddy reached out to Greater Change’s founder Alex McCallion after seeing a BBC News segment on the social enterprise. Alex’s mission, when founding Greater Change, to help people leave homelessness behind for good is close to Toby’s heart and he offered Digital Fuel Marketing to help support at no charge.
About Greater Change
Greater Change is a crowd-funding platform with a difference. They support people who are homeless, or at immediate risk of becoming homeless, with funding to make a sustainable positive change. When people need a financial boost to overcome homelessness or potential homelessness, they are referred to Greater Change by partner charities and services. These partners provide the non-financial support people need, Greater Change provides the monetary support via campaign funding for individuals. Recipients can save for whatever they need with examples including rent deposits or skills courses. All information is transparent, and as a donor, you can see how the donation will be used to fund clear, measurable, and proven steps. 100% of individual donations go towards the person’s goal.
Digital Marketing for Greater Change
Digital Fuel Marketing is supporting Greater Change with the management of their Google grant, they needed to work with an agency that understands PPC and could maximize the potential exposure of the grant. Specific guidelines must also be followed to be compliant with the Google grant. We have been working with the charity to utilise the Google grant to increase the reach of Greater Change in the public domain and to increase the level of donations.
In recent months, Digital Fuel Marketing has also consulted with Greater Change to evolve the user journey on the website through onsite optimisation and new page/functionality with the aim to increase the visibility of the active mailing list. It was identified that not every user is in the position to donate when they first see the brand online, so by advertising the mailing list the brand can remain visible in the eyes of these online users and aim to convert them to supporters’ long term.
